Back forty some years ago when I was younger & life was safer – we only feared the Russians…Mrs. Whiket had a tomato garden on the edge of the woods that we would sneak up on & steal her vine ripened tomatos. We’d then walk over and climb up on the roof of City Hall and eat them with a salt shaker in hand. You know it’s a small village of you can do that & no one notices kids on a roof.
It’s time to pay back… to grow the tomatos for others to come sneak away with. Or to just lay in the grass with salt shaker in hand & eat my own tomatos.
