Mirrorball

it’s not what i usually listen to at all. cause it’s so happy and mainstream, but it’s good for tonight. it reminds me of my ex-ex-ex-ex (who i thought i was going to marry!) which is nice every once in a while.

funny, but someone put it in my mailbox last spring, and i don’t know who!

Temporary Loan

i learned it as early as June of 05, and at that time, it deeply affected me. so much so that i just filed it away, like so many other affecting songs and moved on. but now i look at it again and it’s completely my life. I even know ‘how to spell her name,’ as in, it’s a damn hard name to spell. he actually started ‘writing me down’ years ago – a play based on my songs.

i mean real.

it’s so nice to have there be no mystery to it, you know, even though it sucks.
