This week seemed to go well, but the scales only went down 1 lb. Could be a measurement error or something else, so not going to worry about it. It’s still down.

I was very strict in the week and ok on Saturday, but then had a very large lunch on Sunday. Friends were over and my wife’s banoffee pie kept jumping into my mouth.
But, 2 lbs off is good so I got a bit lucky.
Also nice to be below my “wedding weight”, which was 11 years ago. Off to New York for a week in two weeks time, so I would like to get to 178 or so by then.
Had a great week eating well and lightly, but then blew it a bit at the weekend. Started badly when I realised I had a work breakfast and work lunch on Friday, but had a light dinner to compensate. But then my wife made a very nice chocolate tart which was hard to resist. A strict day yesterday has unwound some of the weekend badness, and I lost 3 lbs over the last 8 days which is pretty surprising. Would like to get under 182 by nxet Tuesday, which was the weight I got married at (11 years ago).
A good week and not so good weekend meant I am down 2 lbs for the week. I was down 3 before the weekend, but was visiting in-laws and ate poorly.
Hoping to keep doing 2 lbs a week and so should get to a good place by Christmas.
Dropped a few pounds since the start of this challenge. Averaged about 2 lbs a week for the first two weeks. I’ve been trying to eat very lightly in the week, and giving myself a bit more leeway at the weekend. In particular, I have been eating a lot of cooked vegetables as I cannot stand feeling hungry, and they fill you up for a few hours. A microwave pack of fresh vegetables from the supermarket is 100 calories and very easy to prepare.
Five more weeks until I go to New York for a week of work, and then two more weeks until Christmas. I’d like to drop 10 lbs or so before NY. Aside from eating light, I am lifting twice a week.
Frustratingly back at a heavy weight and need to lose. I am going for 7 weeks of light eating to try and get rid of some weight. I don’t expect to do 30 pounds in that time, but hope to make a good start, perhaps half way. This was as at 15th October 2012
Gaa – I thought I was going to get there this week, then I put on half a pound! Three barbeques in four days may be the reason why…although I did have a whole day of exercise on a summer outing (golf, football, volleyball, from 10am to 5pm), and my Tanita scales actually state that I lost 2.5 poounds of fat and gained three pounds of muscle this week. So not as bad as it seems and I need to be patient.
A pretty good week and I am almost there. I had a slight blip Sunday when my sister had me over for dinner, and thrust two outstanding desserts onto the table, but I had little else that day, so didn’t do too much damage.
Just got back from a week in Italy. I decided to eat very lightly on the way out and way back (i.e. no awful plane food), which despite the ridiculous number of pizzas and ice creams I ate, seems to have worked, as I lost another 1.5 pounds over the last two weeks. I expected to go up. The end is hopefully in sight now.
Managed to get rid of another few pounds. Holiday on Saturday for a week, so hoping not to reverse my progress whilst away. Going to need a lot of will power. Hopefully I can achieve this goal at the end of June or early July.
