I'm doing it...

Okay… so I decided to just go ahead and do it. I had my first session last Wednesday and it went well. They basically give you numbing cream to put on an hour before you come and then you lie there and let them touch an instrument that looks like a hairdryer against your skin. The laser finds the hair and burns it… it doesn’t even hurt. Then they put hydrocortisone on it and send you on your way. I bought a package of 5 sessions for 450 dollars and you go to a session every 3 weeks. They say you’ll see a 20% reduction in hair growth after each session. So far, so good…

Smooth, perfect skin...

A few years ago, I started getting electrolysis done because the thought of never shaving or waxing again seemed like such a great gift to myself. About five hundred dollars later, there is an area on my right armpit the size of a nickel that no longer grows hair. So I stopped.

I’d really like to just go get the Laser thing done, but everytime I research it, no one will give an estimate of how much it will actually cost total (just like it was with electrolysis), and there are different warnings about it not working on different skin types, leaving marks, etc. I really want to do this for myself, so I need to actually go in and get a consultation done and commit to figuring out how to pay for it. It just always seems to fall to the bottom of the list.
