The reason I am doing a CRB check or Criminal Records check is for work. I am volenteering as Admin support locally and they need a CRB done. A CRB lasts for 3 years and all places of work do it. by having one done and keeping the paperwork it means that although the next employer has t do their own that the one I hokd allows me to work until theirs comes through.
