OK, I am up a bit, but I HAVE to get down to 162.6 by April 11th so I can win a bet. It involves money, so its has to happen!!
Officially lost 12 pds. My next mini goal is to lose 8 more by the end of April. I am trying to lose at least 10 pounds every 2 months. Slow and steady wis the race, right?
I forgot/didn’t want to update last week because I gained weight. 1/2 a lb, I know not a lot, but I felt so bad about it. Then I decided that if I didnt update just because I gained, I am not being honest with myself. But I did manage to lose it and an additional few ounces. So I am now down 8.8 lbs. Hooray!
I guess it was just water weight last week. or maybe not and I am just back on track. whatever it was, I was so excited this morning when I stepped on the scale. Even if I slow down to losing 1/2 – 1 pound a week, I would still be happy. But I am dreading that plateau that usually come after a few weeks/months of losing. Oh well, why dwell on the negative that might happen, instead focus on the positive that IS happening!
I hope I am just bloated, because I haven’t been eating bad, but I still managed to put on a little weight. The good news is, I dont feel like giving up. Everyo ther time I have tried to lose, at the first disappointment, I have just given up. Not this time! I see 2009 as a time for change….African American President….Cardinals going to the Super Bowl….Candy will lose 50 lbs! Yes she can! LOL, now lets hope I can keep this mindset.
