This is FUN, thanks to Youtube! It is Xmas time and I wanted to learn songs to play in gatherings. Found many easy songs to play: Feliz Navidad (Jose Feliciano), We wish you a Merry Christmans and even children songs very , very easy: Twinkle, Twinkle little star, Mockingbird song and even birthday song. Very cool! Now I need to polish my finger picking and strumming

I found a lot of free lessons online using YouTube, obeyyourmattster.com and other sites. I particulary like justin sandecore, Farratt” channels. I can learn at my own pace and replay as many times I want.

I AM doing this…with the help of the internet. I am using Youtube and search for guitar how to’s and bingo! there are many people willing to help. Some good , some not so, but they know more than I do and everywhere I search , I find help that is most needed. I like it because contrary to regular class, I can go back and forth and sometimes in detail with the videos. I am also practicing my singing with the help of a friend.

I’ve always played the same guitar tune for more than 10 years. A little while ago I decided to learn guitar once and for all AND play real good. I am more visual than in a classroom environment, so I checked on the web for tips, videos and other tools. I found my virtual teacher on YouTube. There are many people like me and in different levels. I can simply watch the videos and go back and forward whenever I want to until I get it right. I love it and already know how to play cool songs.
