These are a few words thst i have learned and I’m happy to say that i’m trying to use them with my kids. jambo- hello, kwaheri-bye, chakula-food, asante-thank you, kula-eat, mbaya-bad,na-and, mwanamke-woman, hapana-no, tamu-sweet, rafiki-friend, and mwanamume-man. I’m not sure how to pronouce all of these words but I am going to find out. It is always a good thing to speak were you can be understood and not confused.

I really wanted to do something that was different. Something that Ihaven’t done before. The answer to my question was to learn as many languages that I can because I feel that it something that ties us all together. That and much more at times. So to start my journey I’m gonna tryto learn swahili. I don’t know if this is gonna be easy, but I’m willing to give it a try. Plus I would like my daughters to know multiply languages and be able to have fun with it.
