Chill the fuck out

so my friend and i knew this guy, and it seemed like he was VERY chill/universally accepted as cool/etc. But now, a few years later, we sort of don’t respect him anymore, because as we grew up ourselves we realized that his chillness was a result of constant pot-smoking and a lack of ambition in life. So I guess i don’t want to be chill, but rather, quiet-minded.

so i really look up to john lennon b/c despite his chill vibe word on the street is that he was really angry. i’m like that. but being an “angry+chill” person is not as superficial as it sounds, i swear dude.

im good at it, i just wish it would become a permanent state of mind.
