One week

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that if you can do anything for a week, you can make it a habit. So I’m shooting to try to achieve this goal every day for the coming week. So far I’m off to a good start. This is partly because I have had to go to work for the past two days, but I think it’s progress. Now if I can only do this on the days I have nothing that I ‘need’ to do I’ll be golden. If I can do this for a week, then why not for the month, the rest of the semester, and the whole summer?



The early bird gathers no moss

This was kind of a crazy week for this goal. My work schedule varies so it’s hard to get up as early as I would for the opening shift when I come in later. However, I did manage to do that a couple of days. It was so nice to have the extra time in the morning. I had so much time that I went to the grocery store and got dinner started before work! I’ll definitely try harder on this goal this week.



This is it!

So it’s August 1. That means I have exactly 1 month until summer is over and I return to the studious life. There simply isn’t any time for sleeping in. I will get up at 7am every day (as I did this morning), no exceptions! Here we go!



Why is this so hard?

This seemed like a pretty simple task when I added it to my list. I simply love my bed too much. I think I made it a little too comfortable. I’ve also come to the conclusion that I need at least 9 hours of sleep. So maybe if I go to bed earlier I’ll have better luck with this.
