I have been eating crap and going out, drinking. Basically, I’ve been a college student, and haven’t been doing anything to lose weight. But today, I put on a pair of pants I’ve owned and worn since 7th grade. They used to be tight in the butt and in the thighs, but now they slip off my hips and I have to pull them up all the time.
I don’t understand how this is happening!
Maybe it’s my new job. I’m always running around, carrying heavy things, pushing u-boats of heavy crates and boxes, rearranging heavy things outside, bending, lifting.
This could be it, but I feel like all the booze and greasy food would’ve countered the work.
Not that I’m complaining or anything! Jeeze.

My self esteem is high right now- I was wearing a sortof tight shirt and my mom said, “looks like you’re getting a waist again.”
I was all sorts of yays.
I don’t know if I’ve lost weight, though, because my scale gives me a different number every time I stand in it. Sometimes it’ll be at my starting weight, and then that night on the same day, it’ll be like, 7 pounds less than that.
Oh well, as long as I’m starting to look and feel better, I’m happy.

I think I weigh ten pounds less than when I started thinking about losing weight a few weeks back. I’m definitely at least 5 pounds lighter than I was when at my maximum. Either way, a small step forward is a step, indeed.

Who doesn't?

I’m trying to make big changes in my life, and one of those big changes is losing a big amount of weight. I like who I am, and I’m ok with my body, but I feel like I’ll be more confidant at a smaller size.
This week, I’m shooting for 7 pounds.
It’s higher than what’s “recommended,” I know. But the more you have to lose, the quicker it comes off in the beginning.
