Happy Easter everyone!!!! He is Risen!!!!!!!!

This is what it’s all about!!!

This year for Lent, I want to give something up, but I also want to add something.

Give up: Eating out. I do it far too much and it is a symptom of laziness and gluttony.

Add in: Prayer. Every night before sleep. Hopefully I’ll create a habit that will last beyond the 40 days. My spiritual life is almost non-existent right now; I’m following the forms, but not the faith if you know what I mean. So it’s time to put some effort into it.

I have an Ash Wednesday buddy at work going to Mass with me at noon. Yay!

Today is the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin. I don’t know if it’s still a Holy Day of Obligation – it used to be – but even if not, it’s a great day to try out a daily Mass!
