Well, I found a REAL fixer upper, but it has potential.. I’m going to bid a lot lower than the asking price. The reports on it are pretty bad, but that could work in our favor. It’s in a good area. The drawbacks are either things I can fix, don’t care much about or that I even kind of like (it’s not badly renovated, so I can make it the way I like it).

I think this is going to happen sooner than I thought it would. So far, I the smartest thing I did was to go on Yelp and find the top rated buyer’s agent in the area. We’re going to start looking tomorrow.

I’d rather get a funky house that has charm than one that’s all fixed up in a way I don’t like and “perfect”.
