My weight is back down to what it was in late December. I had put on 22 lbs between February and May. The weight is coming off but not fast enough. My strength has fluctuated considerably since I started dropping weight again. My shoulders and legs have definitely weakened and my chest and arms have gotten stronger. I’m trying hard to convince myself not to care too much about losing strength but for years all I cared about was gaining strength.
Tomorrow, Tabatas, Saturday Tabatas, Sunday Tabatas.

Considering the massive fluctuations in my weight and composition I should have simply picked a “Weight x lbs” goal. Oh well, I’m down 5 lbs this month.

The guy eating the hamburger has accomplished this goal, congrats to him.
I’ve technically lost over 15 lbs now, so I could mark this goal as done but I would simply have to add another “lose X lbs” goal. (that’s an unspecified number, not a roman 10). So I will keep this going.
I can say that I’m somewhat surprised at the self discipline I’m showing. I was actually doing better 2 years ago, while being tempted with all my favourite Christmas pastries. But some mild January stresses derailed everything. You can never go back.

It’s been a shitty few weeks over all but yesterday I fit comfortably into a pair of jeans that had not fit in a few months.

I had started seriously again in early December and I was doing well. I had lost 7 pounds by January. I got stressed with a few problems in January-Feb and managed to gain 21 lbs in 3 months. So I actually need to lose ~30 lbs. I’ve lost my passion for heavy weightlifting so I don’t have the build to carry the weight well anymore.
