One of my first steps was to read “Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway” and complete all of the activities. This helped enormously, especially during my job search.
And of all the changes I have seen occur since getting off the birth control pill (I was on for 10 years), I think the surge of testosterone has helped with my assertiveness.
I also went to meetup.com and joined some groups that interested me. Through this, I have gotten to practice behaving confidently by being put in new situations with new people.
