I went to al local glass dealer – they will be keeping all their mirror off-cuts for the next week. I thought that one could use an old sattelite dish receiver to concentrate the rays…

I wonder how hot it should be not to nuke the poor chicken – what the total surface area of the mirror should be. Any solar power experts out there. I’ll most probably have to do some internet research, so if anybody can direct me, I’ll appreciate it!

that this will be a neat thing to do. Perhaps my first project should be “chicken on a spit”.
