My baby is helping me think more positively.
When I’m feeling down or only seeing the negative in things, I just have to look at him and he lifts my spirits.

This is definitely the first step to changing the aspects of myself that I do not like and to becoming a happier person. I have always been a negative person, and lately I have noticed how much of an impact that has on everything I do and the way other people perceive me.
I would really like to start by pushing negative thoughts out of my head as they come and replacing them with positive ones. I know that I have to conciously remind myself to do this, because negative thoughts are a terrible habit of mine.
I would also like to catch myself when I begin complaining and instead talk about a positive aspect of what I was talking about, or something related to it. This will help in making me a better and more pleasant person to be around. I love having friends that give off a positive vibe. It is very motivating. I would love to become one of those friends.
I will keep my complaints to a minimum and only voice them to my significant other just to get them out. After all, that is part of why we are with one another—to listen to eachother complain ;) I believe that negative thoughts do need to come out at some point or else they will just build up and drive a person crazy.
I would just like to keep them to a minimum and not let them out to the unsuspecting general public.
