be in love

I am officially in love! Actually, I have been for some time now, but I haven’t been on the site to update on my status. Love is such an amazing thing, I feel like I’m on top of the world when I’m with my boyfriend, even if it’s an awful day otherwise. =]

I’m still on my way there, but not just yet. I want to savour every moment of the “newness” in our relationship & I feel no pressure to move on from it right now. I still get butterflies whenever I see him & things are moving along perfectly. Ahhh how nice it is to be with a man that ACTUALLY follows through on what he says.

I met the man of my dreams a few weeks ago. Now, I’ve chosen to remain single for the last 2 years because in the past I’ve settled & ultimately been disappointed. I’ve been quite the serial dater & met my fair share of losers. Rather than settling for Mr Right Now, I’ve chosen to wait for Mr Right before I get into another serious relationship. I even have a scoring system!! Well about 2 months ago I found him. I’ ve hesitated to use the word because I’ve honestly just been waiting for him to fuck up somehow. He hasn’t. He actually follows through on his promises & posesses every quality I’ve always wanted. I wouldn’t say that I’m love just yet, but I’m certainly heading in that direction. I’m just thankful that I waited for someone worth my time, if I had settled I could have been with someone else & never met my prince. Love is a beautiful thing & I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds for us.
