Well, my mother saw the tattoo on my arm when I was home in July, and apart from saying “I don’t like it”, she didn’t refer to it again – and I lived to tell the tale! So now I can wear short-sleeved tops at home again :-)

I’d like to get a tattoo on my left arm, even though my parents still haven’t seen the one on my right arm and I’ve had it around five years now! My mother doesn’t like them – she thinks they’re dirty and ugly. So when I visit them I have to wear long-ish sleeves, so as not to upset her too much :-) But then, she didn’t like it when I got my ears pierced a third time, so what can I say. . .?!
