study art in London

I am wondering how many things would not (or could not) be covered by scholarships and things of that sort if I go to London for a year in studying art.
Food, art supplies, books and housing amoung other things might not be covered by scholarships.
I know I’ll need to save money, I really want to refrain from taking out too many student loans…

How much is the American dollar to the English pound? How often does that number change?

I would love to study art in London my junior year in college.

So many things in England inspire me greatly, the deep history, the rich stone architecture, the rolling lush hills in the country, the old churches, the mysterious ruined castles, the rivers, the bridges, the gardens and gates, the thought of the many famous people who tread upon the same ground as I on the little continent.
It is completely impossible to not feel inspired. The only problem is that I might be too inspired, and I would be composing music, and writing things when I should be only focusing on my art.

I know the credits would transfer from the art college I am planning on attending… and I have many relatives in England… so it is very possible that I could actually study there for a year.
