get a job

Within a week of making that challenge to myself, and committing, I’ve finally got a job offer! I can work at Mrs. Field’s/Pretzel Time, but I have a day or two to get back to them. If Humboldt Bay Inn calls within that time, I’m taking that job instead, but still…! Guaranteed work! FUCK YES. It took hard work, but I’m a lot more confident in myself now.

So, I dropped off an application for Mrs. Fields/Pretzel Time [They’re owned by the same family, and share employees, that means double the hours!] mid-last week, and spoke to the head manager, Judy. After that, I wrote a personalized Cover Letter, and created a resume to Chris Ambrossini, the hiring manager at Humboldt Bay Inn, for their receptionist position.

Saturday, I got a call back from Judy, asking me to come in today [Monday] at 2:30, so I’m going to do that interview. But first, I’ll swing by Humboldt Bay Inn, and drop off my application stuff, while I’m still dressed all fancy-like. Woo!

On another note: I REALLY need to get crackin’ on this job situation, quick. My family environment is getting much, much worse, as evidenced by the gigantic blow-out between the four of us last night. I need to move out, by July.

I cannot believe I’m doing this. I love sex, so, so, SO much. But still, I have a month total to have sex, AND get a job, so I’ve got to get on this. The full definitions of this, are that I’ll still get to pleasure my girlfriend, but I won’t be able to recieve anything myself, or complete my OTHER goal, of having an Orgasm. The fact that withholding sex is a big deal for me is a big deal in itself, because I’ve never really liked sex before my current girlfriend, and that says a lot about our relationship. She makes me feel good, and is concerned with ME rather than herself in all aspects of “us” and I love that. She’s very special to me, and I really hope she’s not pissed off with my punishment if I don’t get a J-O-B [That’s pronounced “Hob” right…?]
