SO happy!

Now I’m really excited about learning Korean. I looked into it further and realied just how similar it is to Japanese. I am SO happy. I must add the fact that at this moment I’m not interested in learning Hangul. There isn’t room right now for it since there is Kana and Kanji in my head.

But I would like to speak and understand korean. I even read a sentence because I understand the SOV structure and read the vocab.
Ga (or i) is the same as Japanese and in the place of wo is nun. Yo is even there, but a totally different meaning. _ Also I love the fact that a verb can equal a whole sentence. I couldn’t be happier. I may start learning sooner than later.

I know it might seem weird to be excited over something like this… but what am I to do?

Korean, being an Altaic language like Japanese makes me happy. They have the same sentence structure. (S-O-V, a bit difficult to grasp) And Korean is far easier than Japanese (no kanji, no kana)... and someone said it’s easier than spanish. Well I hope I have an easy time of it. I will start to study Korean in a few months.

My reason for wanting to study Korean is I love to watch Korean movies and dramas, and I’m tired of picking up the langauage unconsciously (same reason I decided to learn Japanese). I might as well make use of this time and multi-task. I love lanugages so it only makes sense. Also you never know where life will take you.
