Now in Virginia I’ve been going to a few people’s classes. i went to 2 zumba and 2 cycle. C in zumba was alright. F was amazing! The woman instuctor in ok for cycle but she didn’t have a mic, so that always makes a class worse than it would be. S’s class was not really good. Played back techno music, didn’t listen to changes of beats, and turned the music up and down in weird ways. he was nice to talk to after class though. I guess this officially makes the goal complete!

Did half of a Zumba class after I subbed 10:30 cycle. It was fun, but a little high impact. My knee felt a but weird after class, like it usually does after specifically a Zumba class. I made me think about possible learning Zumba, but this was before I felt my knee ache.
I went to half of J’s yoga class before I had to teach aqua. It was really really good. Being in a yoga class is so different than doing the strectches on your own. I don’t know if I can ever creat that sort of environment. But that’s ok. I really enjoyed the class and I should take yoga more often. It felt so good to really stretch and release.
Went to P’s cycle class this Saturday morning. It kinda sucked. And…..she jumps on a 5 count!!!!!! 5 is not divisible by 32 beats! Stupid.
I half of T’s class this morning before my 945 step. IT. WAS. AMAZING. I didn’t want to leave, but she really knows her music and beats and I was just pumped for it. REally good class, really good instructor.
I took half of S’s class on Friday. IT was ok. She’s a decent intructor, had good spiritng, just the people in the Newington Cycle classes suck. I’m going to use her Men in Black idea though.
I went to Michelle’s Zumba class with my sister and B. YEs, I’ve gone to her class before, but I’m still going to let it count for #2. I’m considering going to a yoga class tonight as well.
Went to C’s cycle class. He’s not known as a popular instructor and now I know why. He gave hardly a two minute warmup (not safe!), didn’t introduce himself, and didn’t explain his scale of p.e. or give safety cues. Plus we went the ENTIRE time out of the saddle, jumped the entire time, and maybe did 2 or 3 sprints.
Not a really good class. If I had to say something good it was that his music was appropriate and I could hear the beats in everysong. It may be formatted cycle music.
I learned mostly what not to do, hate to say it. Next class I’m going to try someone with a better reputation.
