This goal just got easier. I was planning on putting it on hold while my husband finished, but I just got a scholarship! I can’t pass that up, so I’m going to finish my associates degree.

I’ve settled on the degree I want. I’m going to go for an associates of applied science in early childhood. The requirements for the applied science degree are a lot different than for the regular associates. Less generals and more within major. I like that, since the generals are what I hate. This one will take a little bit longer to get, but it’ll be worth it to be taking classes I actually enjoy. This semster-English, ASL, and Family Relations. So far, I’m enjoying all three classes.
I’ve got 34 credits so far. I think I’m just going to get my associates for now, so I should be able to get it with 26 more credits. I’ll plan on taking 9 credits a semester (I still have to work full time). I need to decide if I want to go summer semester or not. If I do I could get my degree by the end of ‘07, if I don’t it will be Spring of ‘08.
