So, I have been doing my torso regiment for a week now, and I dont think Im pushing myself hard enough there. My legs are doing great and I can say that I am pushing just fine in that area because I BURN when Im done. Not so much with my torso, so I am upping the ante. I have increased my whole torso regiment by 5 across the board. Now, I am really feeling the work-out!

Its the weekend.... 16 months ago

Ok. So, its the weekend and if you’ve been following me on this goal, then you know that the weekend is two days I have nothing planned. So, Im supposed to take it easy and let my muscles relax a bit after a week of working them hard. And so far I have done just that, but I think I am going to do my torso routine anyway…. I just caught a look at myself in the mirror from the side and can I just say “wow”? Not too much to see from the front yet, but the side is looking kinda good.

Good enough to motivate me more, anyway.

I did my whole set this morning (torso and legs) and I did my pushup set like I said I would last night and I have only one thing….. Diamond pushups frackin suck!

But I did them and I will continue to do them. Next up: Legs tonight.

Ok.
So.
I’m lazy… I’m a geek1… and I’m not even sure that I can do this. But, I have challenged myself to do it, cause it is something that I have wanted to do for a long, long time.

Current Measurements:
Height: 5’11
Weight: 143 lbs. (65k)
Chest: ???
Common Pant Size2: 30/32

Target Measurements:
Height: No Change
Weight: 190-210 lbs. (86-95k)
Chest: ??? (Need a starting point. Will add it when I finally measure my chest.)
Common Pant Size: 32/32 or 34/32 (Will be content with the original 30/32 as long as I reach my target weight and ripped look to my body… [^^])

So, this is my beginning plan. No weights. I dont think I’m ready for them just yet. In lieu of them, I am going to following the following regiment:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday -
AM (Between 9am and Noon):
A 3 minute Warmup followed by 10 Standard Pushups, followed by a 45 second break.
10 Wide Pushups, followed by 10 Standard Crunches.
A 60 second break followed by 10 Diamond Pushups.
20 Crossover crunches followed by a 3 minute cooldown.

PM (Between 9pm and Midnight):
Same as AM

Tuesday and Thursday –
AM (See times above):
A 3 minute Warmup followed by a 5 minute Stretch.
25 Unweighted Squats followed by a 30 Second break.
25 Unweighted Step-ups followed by a 30 Second break.
25 Unweighted Lever Holds at a 15° angle followed by a 3 minute Cooldown.


Any input on this regiment would be welcomed.

2 This is the size that is commonly found in my closet. Of course, there are other sizes due to differences in brands and how they size (i.e.: I wear a 30/32 Levi’s but I wear a 28/34 Dungarees), but this is what is the staple and what I look for when I but jeans.
