dance dance dance

i did so much of this in the interim. I am way better at salsa.

then i met an old-time who for some odd reason didn’t dance with me and danced with my friend, and i just haven’t been back since. real bummer – just because i don’t want to run into him again :P

stupid me. but my cousin comes down into town soon, and i sure am taking her dancing to tear the floors ;)

yay!!! went salsa dancing again last night!! I took my friends (a couple) there, and going in I had doubts if I’d find a partner, but I did!!

I danced a lot, mostly with Al-Fred (and I got his name wrong again! “HI Al..bert?” “Alfred” – I knew it, how could i be right?). Then, this desi dude from pakistan was also there, turns out we even have the same regional language (besides hindi/urdu, every region in india has a particular lingo).

I messed up on a ::lot:: of moves, and I was under this worry that my low-rise 2 sizes big jeans would fall, but they didn’t. I’m still happy that I went dancing! yay yay yay! :)

Am planning to go again next week.

...a week ago, and I WAS GOOD! I danced with two guys, but mostly wit this one egyptian guy called Albert, and he was fantastic. It was like being on one of those rides at the fair. Wheeeeee! :)

Zen, ze indian festival of dusshera will also be celebrated at the indian embassy here, and my friend and i are preparing a dance number for it. hope it turns out good. plus its a dance festival, and my friends will be coming so i’ll be doing some footwork! yay! :)

Also goes for work, am looking for new job as quit old one, but all is for ze best.

boy i’m really getting into the groove with regards to getting things done (STILL haven’t read book, ironically).

got karaoke done, got a job, got to go salsa dancing….

feel peaceful ::right this moment:: If I could hug goodness.. There was this girl whose poem went, “So karma, can we hug, can we talk”. I thought it was really cheesy then, but now…

Now is a different story. Funny how this all comes under “dance dance dance”.

Well, at salsa last night I was more of a wallflower but no worries, I know I’ll have my day ;) I had one good dance and I’m better than I thought!!! Now, I have to figure out a way to get those guys on the dance floor to ask me to dance!!

... i could be going salsa dancing this sunday. I’m a bit broke cos of joblessness – so that might come in the way – cos i’d have to pay for lesson and drinks…

then i realised, I Do do this one often.. but still I want to go out and do more dancing, especially salsa!! :)
