get a job

Not doing so well on finding a job. The housecleaning ended up paying less and less until I was getting $10 for cleaning her entire house. Not worth it and its out of my way so I do it if she asks me to, but that’s been twice since I started college.
Not even a ray of hope.
My friends work said that they were thinking of hiring me except that they couldn’t because I was her friend and apparently they have a policy against hiring friends and family for some reason.
At least college is going well, so I’ll have a career even if I can’t get a part-time job. And there is always summer jobs.
Oh, and I’m coming into some money anyway, so I’ll be fine for now.

I went in again at my mother’s work and got a bit more pay, but it’s the end of summer and I’m back down to barely any money. I am job searching now. I got my mom to agree to drive me around for work, so I picked up on Cathy’s(neightbour and friend of the family) offer to talk to soomeone to get me a job at the McDonald’s nearby. As long as I get paid. I also applied for two Tim Horton’s places and a library job for students. I want to just get one job until I can get back into swimming and start earning real money. I’m good for now though, cause I still have my babysitting and house cleaning.

My mother’s work had me come in for a couple of weeks near the end of the school year, and I did filing and such. Lots of pay, very happy. It will look very good on a resume.

It’s not a real job, but it’s more than babysitting. I’ll keep this on the list until I get a part-time job. I am house cleaning for my Aunt Sarah. Every other week, 2-3 hours for $15-$20.
