get a full-time job by August

And I now have 3 part-time jobs!! lol sighs I could do what my parents want, and save myself the stress, and get a random full-time job at Amazon or something…but at the same time, my current mentor said “How long have you had your degree? Like only 6 months? I wouldn’t give up yet.” And I think she’s right. At least for now, anyways! How am I EVER going to get experience to match my degree if I stop working in my field? It’s not possible! So, for now, I’m holding out and hoping that better, more solid, things come my way. I got a second chance at this third job, and it’s only a few hours a week, but I’m hoping that they’ll trust me and let me have more hours after I’ve worked there for a little while, and then I can leave the other job no sweat. I hope. But that’s what we live on, right? Hope.

It’s so discouraging…constant rejection and/or non-answers really get me down. The competition is so strong, I feel like I barely have a chance, especially with the two things that seemed like I should have grabbed them no problem. I really really don’t want to be like everyone else, not in their field, working some factory job, but…shrugs. I won’t give up the library, so I may be stuck working two part time jobs, but I’m fine with that at this point. Can’t believe it’s almost June already! Thank God for good weather, or I’d be too depressed to go outside.

I really want a job IN MY FIELD, which is damn near impossible right now! I love being part-time at the library, but having 2 jobs, the other of which I really dislike, is just getting to be too much. I have no time to myself, I have no time for others, which means that I’m working all the time for beans!! I’m getting married in a little over a year…if that means I have to take a job outside my field, so be it, if that means I’ll be financially stable!! It has to happen.
