write down my parents' stories

Well, it started off when I was talking about wood inlay, how neat it looks, and my dad started telling a story about his great grandfather (my great great great?) and how he
graduated” in 8th grade and went off to become a cabinetmaker, until the depression hit and he had to find a job at a dairy and his grandmother (my great grandmother?) was at a sewing factory, and that a few of the really neat pieces we have at home, he made! Isn’t that something!!

I originally thought this was a great idea…then a silly one…but now I realize its importance, in that while my parents have told me stories of their childhood, many many times, they don’t tell me other stories, or they tell them once and that’s it. I think they’d like it if I wrote a minibook filled with the stories they told me <3 . I'm keeping the journals I had from when I was younger...maybe one day, I'll give them to my kids to read <3 .
