that sounds a bit negative….but it’s true!! <3 I'm going to graduate this year, and I'm planning to start working full-time and taking online grad classes. Hopefully I can then save up enough money to pitch in on an apartment with a friend. That would definitely be a learning experience! Lord willing, it'll all work out. :)

I spoke to my very close friend about possibly getting an apartment together when I graduate. It’s a big IF, though. I can move into an apartment IF:
- I get a decent job that can pay for both a car and an apartment, as well as other things
- the aforementioned job has health insurance (unless I go straight to grad school, I’m not covered!)
- the job is not too far away from my friend’s job (and she gets a car!)
etc.
And, I might actually be better off going straight to college, with this economy…but then again,if the economy stays the way it is, having a Masters might make me overqualified for certain jobs…I don’t know! We’ll see what happens.
If I’m not getting a job straight off the bat out of college (and saving for/getting an apartment), I’ll be going away to college!! Either way, it’s going to be an adventure…and hopefully it’ll be a good/happy one!!
Maybe, if I would have saved up, I could be getting an apartment this summer, when my sister leaves. However, I had to buy a new car in January, and it’s about $212 a month. I can afford this, but even if I saved every last penny, there is NO way that I could possibly afford an apartment right now, let alone electricity, heating, maintainence, internet, my cell phone, and food!! sighs My dad made a comment about how I have too much stuff for one room. of course I do! I need more room! But, as it is, I can and will get rid of a lot of stuff…I can’t take it all with me when I move out, anyways. I working on it!
my sister’s going off to college next year, and, God willing, since she has to move out, I’ll move out too. I’ve GOT to start saving and looking atplaces…I don’t want to be stuck in the Briars but if I have to…sighs. And while my parents may argue against it, they’ll be right down the road and I have to start learning to be responsible at some point! and if I can keep my bike wherever I am thatwould be cool so I could ride home. and to weis. there are advantages and distinct disadvantages. And I’ll working on this. <3
