buy a car

So the turn signals randomly don’t work. And it’s getting worse: sometimes the 4ways won’t work either!!! BAD BAD BAD! Apparently this is a common problem with 2002 malibu’s…but all chevy did was send out letters to “watch out for this” instead of doing a recall!! What a ripoff!!! So I’ve got to get it fixed. Ugh. oh well…it really is a nice car, and it’s holding up well. Thank God!!

It’s a chevy malibu, and it’s pretty! And it’s about 7 years old…here’s hoping I won’t have to do too much maintenance on it!! winces It’s a decent car. Not the best, but far from the worst. I like it. It was less than $5000, too! So, here’s hoping I can pay it off completely myself and won’t have to do too many repairs!!

No more beautiful, gorgeous, small, shiny, awesome sound, blindspot mirrors car!! cries I AM SO ANGRY! But what can I do? It protected me as best as it could, and now it’s gone. :( So now…I am really buying a car! Insurance gulp and all! I’m excited…and yet, not at all. I’m excited to find and choose a car I like…but none will be as wonderful as my other car, and they will definitely be older. Oh well…gota do the best I can for now. Wish me luck!

In about a month, I’ll have had the car for a year! :) I really love my car! I’m down to 8000-something, which is pretty awesome! I can pay it off in 4 more years! Yippee! And Lord willing, it’ll stay good for a long, LONG time!! :)

yes, gas is going up. Yes, I’ll have a harder time paying this car off in winter. But it really was the best choice.
How can I be blamed for getting an economy car with great gas milage in this day and age? I’m NOT spending good money on gas guzzlers from 4 or even 7 years ago. Sure I’ll pay it off faster, but the amount of gas I’ll need to buy will offset everything. I really feel that it’s best that I’m paying off a 2-yr-old car with barely 7000 miles and a fantastic warranty for about $10,000, as compared to anything else. Yes it’s hard, but I’m still in college and I’m still working, so I NEED a car, and I need a car that gets good milage and performs very well. I can do it and I WILL do it! This way I can concentrate on other things later, like an apartment and other things. It’s a huge investment for me, but it’s WORTH IT!!

so…judging by the price, it’ll take about 5.5 yrs to pay it off…but oh!! I really like this car! It’s a KIA! And I think I’m getting a really good deal…no sleaze! I’m worried…but as soon as the downpayment is made, I’ll start working on buying it <3 <3 <3 I just CANNOT MESS UP!! and well...I'll get used to the payments after a while, and I NEED A CAR! So it's all good, meh? :-D

So my car was totalled. And I don’t think I’ll get much for it at all Sighs. And so, considering I’m a commuter and I have a rental car, it’s off to searching for cars SATURDAY. Dear Lord, I have no idea what I’m doing. However, my dad will be with me…Wish me luck!

so I’ve been looking at stuff recently…I like the Dodge Neon, though I don’t know how safe it is/what good mileage it has…but actually, if I do my work right, there are a lot of cars out there that are decent for under 5,000. Maybe i’ll be lucky? In the meantime, I’m going to save….

considering the one I used to drive might be totalled, I really need to be prepared to buy a new one. And learn how to do insurance and whatnot. sighs
