declutter my house

I’d associated them (and me ) with contributing to the clutter.
I repotted some plants, cleared out some long-abandoned drawers. The animals are disturbed by the change in chi, bless their energy-sensitive spirits. I’m feeling more energy as useless paper, containers, and accumulated dust, lint, and animal hair make their way out the door.

Removed three bags of papers I thought I needed to keep, four boxes of books, one big box of toys, two bags of clothes. Books are easier to sell than CDs are.

I have at least six junk drawers. I learned yesterday I have undiagnosed ADD, which at least gives me an understanding of why decluttering is hard. I get overwhelmed and don’t know what to tackle first. I also didn’t think I’d ever have time to pick up every little spare bit of paper and ask and answer “how does this fit into my life? Is it necessary? Does it give me pleasure?”

So much of this I’m not getting help on. How do I get rid of my television without paying a disposal fee? How do I get a list of local homeless shelters that will take our blankets? Do I put my Wired collection on eBay?
