33. I have been in love twice. I hope next time it’s less sad.
34. I always have red string.
35. I like cooking on boats. Or on shore.
26. I drink a lot of tea.

29. I made a really great group of friends in college. We always dreamed about starting a commune together someday, but we were really already the community we were seeking.

30. I was a druid’s novice for a couple years. She taught me about cooking, tea, medicine, ritual and divination, all sorts of things. I liked the attention and she liked the company, and the extra pair of hands in the kitchen. As she told me, it’s good to have a novice and it’s good to be one. Sometimes I felt resentful about being someone’s project but it was ultimately a positive experience.

31. Using the telephone gives me the fear.

32. I love touch- hugs and cuddling and holding hands and back rubs and sleeping next to people, so long as they are my friends.

28. Some of my favorite smells are sandalwood, sage, rosemary, and cedar.

24. I’m a lesbian. Kinsey fiveish.
25. I think goldfish look like eggs dropped into hot water.
26. My favorite stone is garnet.
27. I have three people I call my best friend, and it feels like cheating.

23. I think buying pre- hole-filled jeans is a cop-out. I feel kind of elitist about my own jeans, which have holes because I have worked and played in them for years. They are holes I earned. Haha… but they look pretty terrible.

22. I think bathing suits are stupid looking. Naked is better.

20. I think Niel Gaiman is pretty much the best thing ever. An Oscar Wilde. And Grandaddy Tolkien. And Francesca Lia Block. I crush on authors all the time, famous ones and my writer friends. They tend to have a sort of rock-star quality about them.
21. I don’t altogether trust girls who are really good dancers.

16. I was obsessed with Star Wars when I was in Middle School, but I tried to keep it secret. ;)
17. I only regret having kissed one person, and that was because he was a smoker and tasted terrible, and my arch-nemisis to boot. (It was spin the bottle.)
18. My favorite actor is Johnny Depp. I don’t have a favorite actress.
19. I wear a seven-pointed star on a red string. People ask me what it means and I never quite tell them. I also wear an abalone shell on a string. People say it is beautiful and never ask me what it means. That is the whole of my jewelery.

11. I love super-organized fiddly little things. Bead boxes, spice cabinets, spectrumally ordered bobbins of embroidery thread and the like. My room, however, is a wreck.
12. I am depression-prone.
13. I have more fear of prescription drugs than of some illegal ones.
14. I love idealists, people with a strong passion for whatever-it-may-be, and people who think they’re out to save the world, though I do not count myself among their numbers.
15. I am very good at schoolwork.

I like reading other people’s so I think I’ll make my own. Here’s a start.

1. I love harvesting carrots. I hate washing them.
2. I used to have a crush on Jane from “Daria.”
3. I procrastinate something terrible. The internet makes it worse!
4. I think my mom spoils me. I nearly always let her.
5. I am not a rebel. Most of the time I really want to just get along with everybody and be entirely socially acceptable and have things in common with people I meet. But a lot of the time I feel pretty alien anyway.
6. I love having hairy legs and feeling like a wild woman. And I love having soft smooth shaved legs. too.
7. I like shounen-ai. Sometimes I think hetero couples look strange and mismatched.
8. I have really long hair. I always am thinking about cutting it very short, but I’ve got long hair so symbolically attatched to my femininity that I probably never will. But I love playing with other people’s short hair.
9. I think my mouth is a funny shape.
10. I forget to eat. I hate having to go eat when I’m in the middle of something.
