finish my masters degree

This makes me wonder, “What on earth was I thinking?!” ...But I know I’ll pull through.

Just wish me luck on both the written assignment and the group presentation that must be completed in the next 24 hours!

Started one class. I’ve got five courses left plus a mini-thesis. With any luck I’ll be able to finish that in two years so I’ll be done in May of 2011 (tbc). I’d love to get this thing tucked away.

Hmmm…. What’s that weird feeling? Could it be optimism?

Talked to the Program Director at my potential new uni. Depending on whether / how much advanced standing I get on my previous courses, she says I can grad in three to five courses plus a mini-thesis.

That’s better than I thought!

Most importantly, the school seems ready to accommodate and generally student-oriented.

I am still exploring whether it makes sense to switch schools/programs. Since my last entry, I’ve received a transcript from my former school.

I have also set up an appointment so will be traipsing about on campus again soon. In fact, in early June, I’ll be meeting with the Program Director at a potential new university. Hope there is something that works out!

Seriously considering switching programs… Which is probably something I should have examined as a possibility sooner! Anyway, I’ve requested a copy of my transcript from my former university as a first step to potentially transferring to a new school.
