Move to Chicago

This may happen, but I could easily end up somewhere else. Time to find a new job and my prospects are varied, so there’s no predicting location. I’m excited for change. I’ve grown up this year and perhaps it’s time to take the show on the road. Relocate and start new. Get to test my mettle in a new town with no support system. I wouldn’t move for the sake of change, but the career move might lead to it. I’m just interested to realize I’m capable of that now, starting over. I couldn’t have done it a year ago. I do like what I have happening locally in my life, but I’m not in love with the location. So, a great job could pull me away.

Yeah, this one has been on hold. I’ve been working for one company to show some stability on my resume. I’m getting a website of my work set up. After these two goals are met in a few months, by summer, I will feel free to move about wherever I want. New Zealand is still on the list of places I’d like to live. I’m looking at the big picture, looking back from an imagined future. What can I make of my life? A lot, I think.

Feels like home when I visit there. I get a thrill just walking around the neighborhoods. I feel comfortable yet excited at the same time, calm and inspired, plugged in. I already have friends there, a support base and a social scene. There is so much to experience there, I love the diversity. I need that. I’m not arguing Chicago is better than anywhere else. It is just the city that makes me the happiest right now. Let’s go!
