My cousin, Barry Rutherford, visited us from Virginia. Sunday we went to Venice Beach. Hallie and Milan had fun playing in the sand. It was too cold for me to enjoy. I wrapped up in a blanket and ready my book. The sound of the ocean is one of my most favorite sounds in the world. Very soothing.

Christmas Eve 2010

Jonathan and I went to Santa Monica for Christmas Eve Day. We ate lunch at the end of the pier at the Mexican place. It was a beautiful sunny, warm day. California had just been hit by a week of rain so this was a treat for us to be out in the sun. We ate outside on the patio. It was very nice. Jonathan and I chatted about everything. It was a very nice day. The sound of the waves, soothes my nerves, very calming effect.

Then we headed back to LA for the CandleLight Service at Oasis Church. Great day
