Beer bread~

I know I went on an alcohol rant, and I still feel the same way, but…

Beer is good in bread! D: And I haven’t had it in so long…

My mom found a ‘recipe-in-a-box’ that she wanted to try… It was amazing. I wish I had thought to look at the box to see what it was before she pitched it, but oh well.

I could taste the beer in it, obv., but it also had a sweet taste to it, too. And I enjoyed the crust more than the middle, which is unusual for me. :3 It was pretty damn delicious.

Getting something accomplished.

It’s always a nice feeling to finish something after putting it off. Now I know it’s done and I can breathe a bit easier!

Knowing the not-so-distant future.

My place of work is closing in less than a week. I have two other jobs, but one I only go to once a month, and the other one is once or twice a week. And as of right now I don’t have another job lined up yet. Not having that steadier income makes me nervous, since I’ve had it since… Well, almost a year, I think. Or even over.

Sheesh… Can I go Peter Pan and never grow up? Minus tights?

A nice hot shower when you wake up and feel Bleh in the morning.

I’ve watched almost every movie and have enjoyed them all… Except Pom Poko(?). Whichever has the raccoons in it. That one I just kept thinking of it as a film meant to teach kids about something while trying to keep it interesting for them. Which I guess it was? A school film is what it reminded me of.

Either way. I just… Really love the movies they churn out.

Spending time with the fam for Christmas. :)

I used to have Christmas with my mom’s side, too, but after my grandma passed away we all split off… I really miss those times. But it makes my time with the family from my dad’s side more precious.

Not as many came back this year, but it was still a great time. :3

Today!

Went to The Hobbit this morning/last night. Loved it. I was a little worried Peter Jackson would get a little too Hollywood with it, but he did an awesome job! They all did!!

Only got three hours of sleep, so I’m dragging butt, but that’s fine!

Then I went and sold all my old textbooks, since I got finished with classes yesterday, and almost got $150 for everything. I was really surprised, but hey, that’s gas money for weeks!

And I found out that my 12-15 page paper, which I did in eight hours right before it was due (which was the writing, research, etc. – everything because I’m a fool) got an A-. I was sooo happy to learn that! I tend to do better under pressure anyway, but I was really worried about it. I would have gotten better if I’d proofread it twice… But I didn’t have time. My bad, guys.

Finally, I found out I finally get to work at Game Stop tomorrow. It’s been a month, and I love working there, so I was so glad I got on the schedule!

So this is just me spazzing about happy crap. Sorry~

Warmth.

Was outside most of the day shoveling and trying to get the puppies to go to the bathroom. Haha, it was a little colder than they were used to~ Now we’re sitting with candles because the electricity’s gone out. It’s only been about fourty-five minutes, though. :3

I was a little sad that I didn’t go to work today, but I guess it’s pretty slick on the roads! Now I’m a bit thankful! Anyone who got what I got or similar, make sure to be careful!

Dogs.

We went into Pet Smart today for some dog food, and of course there were people in there with their dogs. One especially- it was a Pomeranian mixed with something else, I didn’t hear what. It looked like it was still really young, it was super tiny! But it was the cutest, smallest little bundle of brown and black fur I’ve seen in forever

So I love dogs. I don’t mind cats when they’re kittens, but… Once they get older and bigger they’re just… Evil. D: They sense my fear, I think. Ha-ha. So I’m definitely a dog person

Snow!

I hate extreme temperatures, but I still love snow!

We’ve maybe had it snow, including yesterday… Three times? And it never stuck. I’m hoping this time it does; I want a white Christmas! I don’t think I’ve ever NOT had one in my whole life…
