Wow, what a tough process. For a kids book, assuming it will be illustrated, basically each page has to have something of interest, like a little story on each page. Each sentance has to stand on it’s own, yet still tell a story when put together. It’s very challenging making each sentance interesting, yet understandable to a 4 year old. I’m also thinking about how to illustrate it. What should the main character look like? What style of art should I use? Classic Dr. Suess, or Disney-neuvo? Or maybe computer generated, or just weird looking. I don’t know. I think this book will end up in coffeehouses all over the world if it ever gets published, so I’m trying to figure out what style would work in the coffee industry. Any suggestions?

I’ve been telling my son this story about a kid in peru who meets a panther in the mountains. I think I’m going to put it in writing.
