Walked 1.3 miles (according to http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/) or 2825 steps (according to my personal pedometer) on a very pleasant fall evening. smile

Apparently, given my petite stature – & thus my short legs – I walk 2200 steps in any given flat-surface mile. (I wonder if this is “high” or “low”—or if it matters? wry grin)
In any case, I took the pedometer on vacation with me, & was pleased (sometimes quite amazed) at how many steps added up each day. smile
a (new & improved) pedometer as a holiday gift, so my first step toward this goal will be to learn how to use it! wry grin
