I took my tax return and opened a scottrade account and transfered it as soon as i cashed the check. Ha now i cant spend it! now if I can just transfer a wee bit of cash every payday I will be getting somewhere!

Just in case 3 years ago

Mostly I want to save money in case something major happens like a job loss, car breaks down, etc. Ideally I would like to have enough to support my family for 3-6 months if necessary. I have a really hard time saving money it starts buring holes in my pockets if I have any too long and I must get rid of it. :)
