Graduate high school with honors

I’m graduating in two and a half months, and since I am not taking any Regents at the end of this year, my grades and honors are locked in. I’m graduating with an 88.4 overall - mostly because I’ve been an idiot about gym class, but it’s better than the 79 I started with - and, having a 95 average on Regents exams, am going to earn a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation with Honors. I mean, I didn’t apply to colleges on my calibre and am upset about that, but at least this goal will be complete soon…

It is going to be hard trying to graduate with high school with the honours that I deserve due to my horrible freshman year.  I am the sort of student who earns As in everything, does all of her homework on time, and never procrastinates…or at least, I used to be.  I was extraordinarily depressed during my freshman year and my grades went to crap, my average might have been a 79 if I was lucky.  The past two years have been better, a 94 cumulative during my sophomore year and already I’m pulling As and Bs in college-level courses during my junior year; will it be enough to graduate with a 3.5?  Probably not, but here is to hoping.
