Ugh... 22 months ago

...I am in the midst of looking for a job and had a really stressful week with me present position. Anyhow last night I came home and knew I just needed to meditate. So I rode the bike for 20mins (while watching REBA!), did some yoga and then did the body scan meditation. I really needed it. It also came in handy because my bestfriend is going through some stuff right now and it helped me keep my centre when I was talking with her last night.

Anyhow, thank God or whom ever for this. On to writing my stinkin’ 2000 word essay! :P



Starting this tomorrow morning... 2 years ago

...I meditate when I get panic attacks. My attacks aren’t horrible but they are kinda scary. They are like mini rushes that can last up to about 45min sometimes. Meditating seems to help…and going to sleep when I am tired.



Weirdness... 2 years ago

I meditated last night. But that’s not the weird thing.I had the hiccups this morning and my usual “drinking upside” thing wasn’t working for me. So I was moaning in the car about how much pain I was in b/c they were really tough hiccups and my acid reflux was bening provoked by them. Needless to say, just as we got to work I started to meditate quietly in my head and just said the “loving-kindess” mantra. And they went away!!!

Hmmmm maybe they should put meditating down next to scaring someone as a cure for the hiccups. LOL..hey it worked I am not knocking it.
