My BF has been telling me even more lately that I should sort out my priorities… especially since I’m thinking of applying to grad school and I haven’t been using my time to improve my grades/build an awesome portfolio! I have a habit of committing myself to a bunch of interesting things, but then gaining nothing significant to show for in the end.
So, I’m currently asking myself what do I want to accomplish if I’m only allowed to choose a few options?
1. Get into grad school (even if I’m not certain I want to go, I should aim to have the option to choose!). This means focusing my time to get good grades, good connections with my instructors (this is gonna be hard since I’m always coming in late ahah…), and making a good portfolio.
2. Do art! I’ve been crawling in this art ditch for too long. I’m never gonna improve (or build a good portfolio) if I never gain experience!
3. Thrive in my relationships, but know when it’s okay to momentarily neglect them for the sake of getting other important things done.
4. Stay healthy. Continue to eat well, sleep well (or rather start this), and exercise often.
And I guess following these are my other interests/hobbies. These are known as the “time gremlins” I have to be weary of: watching movies/TV shows, yearbook club, charity club, environmental stuff, attending local events, cooking, shopping, reading, night outs, SURFING THE NET, etc.
