So, I’ve been a dental assistant/ front desk with my mom who’s a dentist but I never thought it would become anything. After applying to grocery stores, restaurants and when babysitting got boring I decided to try my luck and applied to dental front desk positions.
People like related experience. If you’ve got skills, flaunt ‘em! You never know when an employer is secretly looking for something that you’ve totally mastered but they don’t even realize that they need the skill that YOU have. You will surprise them, and yourself and you’ll shine at your interview.
Life shouldn’t be hard. If you feel like you’re reaching for a job, then you’ve gotta stop trying that approach. Don’t pretend you’re someone you’re not. Baby steps…
