but that was over a decade ago. I can’t even read music anymore. I still remember where middle c is, so I just count up from there on the rare occasion I come across music. Which is mainly in computer games >:>
I miss the piano. But I don’t own one and besides, it was chosen for me. I’d love to pick something for myself. But how?
I could start with what’s lying around my house. I’ve got a really cool didgeridoo and then there’s my mother’s guitar. Not that I know what to do with it. Every time I open up the case another string is broken and they hurt my fingers when I pluck them (am I too much of a wimp for the guitar?).
I also have no idea how to restring it or how to tune it. And it doesn’t have the easy..sort of spatial..relationship of notes that a piano has. The guitar is pretty incomprehensible to me right now.
