move to California

So my best friend just moved to Hollywood and I drove out there with him and helped him move in. I’m not sure how I feel about SoCal, but I’m definately not gung ho on moving there, even though I know enough people there that it would be fairly easy. Still, if more of my friends start packing up and heading west I may have to follow them so I am not the only one left.

So my best friend since childhood, who lives in my town, up and decided to move out to LA next month. I’m taking the road trip out there to see the country once again. I’m not leaving the East Coast too soon, but if he finds a niche out there and if I find a good job opportunity, I could end up there, too.

I made my first trip to Cali this summer and fell in love with it. The people, the air, the culture… I especially dug Venice Beach down south and Santa Cruz in the north. I heard San Diego beats them both. Frisco’s too cold and LA’s too…. GROSS! Nonetheless, I’d live anywhere in Cali if given the chance, preferably close to the coast.
