Im building a barre at home so that i can start doing barre work again and will start both ballet and circus training ( ariels ) in the new year for the soul purpose of working on my act .
Keepin up with the fitness and even doing a little concept work and testing the waters as to weather this can be a real career move for me .. for all intensive purposes its looking good .

Ive decided on the direction of my first routine , the classic fan dance which will be done at least in part on pointe which means that i need 1- good arm strength to hold , move and position two giant fans and 2- I need to improve my lower leg and ankle strength to start training on pointe again . Im amping up my workouts starting next week , on top of my current cardio (running , aerobics and stepwork ) , movement and weights im going to start flexibility , stablility and swiss ball work to improve core stability and balance essential to this pursuit .
Once my fitness is where it should be ill dust off the pointe shoes and start dancing around my living room ….. my cats are going to hate me!

Currently training to achieve this goal ,increasing general fitness and dancing daily and working on a routine and concept for one 10 – 15 minute spot . Want something solid before i even think about dates because i want this to work properly and want to do it right .

Trained in ballet for 10 years , jazz and ballroom too – i love the idea of performance , especially performance which involves dancing . My love of the vintage age , and my love and work in the fashion field fills in many of the other gaps – but really when it comes down to it im not entirely sure why i want to do this i just do ! Its subversive , its interesting and it encoporates many of my favourite things . And as i get back into dancing this seems like a lofty goal but a good one.
