never join myspace

I have to use it in my job and every time I go there, I am transported back in time. I’m sitting on a beanbag chair by a pile of empty beer cans, inhaling second-hand weed and listening to my vapid peers discuss what bars/clubs they’ve been to, and when, and what they drank, and how much.

Addendum: I’ve reconsidered and want to acknowledge the many myspace users who don’t drink excessively or horde narcotics. But I stand by “vapid.”
