only more specific… I think that I will swap out that goal for this one.
I got some advice that I should eat 5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day. Here is my typical day
5:15 AM get up
6:45 AM drop daughter off at school
7:00 AM Eat a breakfast burrito or a kolache while sitting in traffic
7:30 AM arrive at work
7:35 AM Coffee
8:30 AM Coffee
9:30 AM Coffee
10:30 AM Coffee
11:00 AM Coffee
11:30 AM Lunch – normally chicken salad with some fruit (1 fruit/veg)
1:30 PM Coffee
2:30 PM Coffee
3:30 PM Coffee
4:30 PM Coffee
5:00 PM Fight across traffic to get to school
5:59 PM Run like hell from parking lot to class
7:20 PM Subway sandwich, normally with lots of cucumbers and tomatoes (1 veg)
8:00 PM Class
10:00 PM drive home
10:30 PM arrive home starving – eat something bad for me
11:00 PM go to sleep
THE PLAN:
Where possible – get the Chick-fil-a fruit cup with my breakfast burrito
Replace 10:30 AM Coffee with a V-8 fruit juice
Replace 2:30 PM Coffee with a piece of fruit (a friend recommended apples)
That leaves me 1 serving of fruit short every day that I don’t eat chick-fil-a breakfast. Maybe I’ll add an extra fruit to my lunch.
Yes… I really drink nine cups of coffee every day. DON’T YOU JUDGE ME!
