I went to the German Film Club’s showing of “der Schweigende Stern” last night. They had the subtitles on for all of us silly people who don’t speak German well, but it was a fun night with friends, the film was culturally fascinating, and I got to hear and discuss German a bit.

Just finished the Graded German Reader that I was working through. I’m currently reading “Pu der Bär”. My conversation and listening skills are for crap. I’ve had many movies recommended to me that I needed to find time to take out of the library.

I really should email my German friends…. in German.
